Millennium Volunteers

All our community service students are registered as Millennium Volunteers, which is a national organisation which registers and checks volunteers. From July, 2006, all of our monitors will also sign up with MV. Students keep a record of their hours of volunteer work, and receive a 50 hour, 100 hours, or 200 hours certificate, for service to the community. The MV Representative, who is responsible for Millenium Volunteers in this area of Bedfordshire, visits the school once every half term. Four of our students act as MV Ambassadors, assisting the MV Rep and her work at BMS.

In 2006, we were very proud when one of our students, Chirag Parekh, was named as MV Regional Volunteer of the Year. You can read more of his work by clicking Read More on the right.

"Volunteering with Vitalise I can definitely say is an experience of a lifetime."

Millennium Volunteers Awards

Millenium Volunteers receive awards after completing 50, 100 or 200 hours of community service or receive a special Life Saver award.
