Charities - BMS Outreach

Who we have worked with recently

Whether it is local or international, Bedford Modern School is commited to being a part of the community. Our aim this year is to involve more students in fundraising activity.

Through fundraising events such as mufti days, we have raised thousands of pounds for charities across the world.

The student led Charity Committee has been meeting weekly to organise and plan for Children In Need, which takes place on November 14th. Refer to the Charities notice board to see the year group representatives.

Sixth formers from Mrs Hetherington's cluster held a book sale in aid of the NSPCC to supply the school with their half term reading. Over two days, Josh Kendall and Duncan Howie raised over a hundred and fifty pounds and are still counting.

The Year 7's enjoyed a successful evening fundraising for the Smile Train. See Johnny Luk's report in the e-shot.
